QSFP-100G-DZ2-38 Overview
The Arista Networks is a 100GbE DWDM QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for high-capacity, long-distance optical transmission networks.This module operates on a fixed DWDM wavelength (Channel 38) within the C-band DWDM grid, allowing multiple 100G channels to be transmitted over the same fiber pair using DWDM multiplexing systems.Unlike standard optics such as SR4, CWDM4, DR, or LR4, DWDM modules are used in carrier-grade and metro networks, where dozens of wavelengths (channels) can coexist on a single fiber to maximize bandwidth utilization.
