The Arista Networks is a 100GbE DWDM QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for high-capacity, long-distance optical transmission.This module operates on a fixed DWDM wavelength (Channel 42) within the C-band grid, enabling multiple 100G signals to run over the same fiber pair using DWDM multiplexing systems.Unlike standard optics such as SR4, CWDM4, DR, or LR4, DWDM modules are used in advanced optical transport networks, where dozens of wavelengths (channels) are combined on a single fiber to maximize bandwidth.
