The is a 100G QSFP28 LR4 optical transceiver from Ubiquiti designed for long-range data transmission over single-mode fiber. It uses four LAN-WDM wavelengths around 1310nm to deliver full 100Gbps throughput over a duplex LC connection.This module supports distances of up to 10 km, making it suitable for campus networks, metro links, and data center interconnects where longer reach is required compared to SR4 or CWDM4 optics.Internally, it operates with 4×25Gbps electrical lanes, multiplexed into optical wavelengths, allowing high efficiency over just two fibers (Tx/Rx) instead of parallel MPO fiber.
