XVR-10079-20 Overview
The Arista Networks is a 100GBASE-PSM4 QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for short-to-medium range transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF).It uses PSM4 (Parallel Single Mode 4-lane) technology, where 4 separate optical lanes (each 25Gbps) are transmitted over parallel fibers, delivering full 100Gbps throughput.Unlike duplex optics (like CWDM4 or DR), this module requires an MPO-12 connector and uses multiple fibers (typically 8 fibers: 4 Tx + 4 Rx) instead of just 2.
