The Dell is a 10GBase-SR SFP+ optical transceiver designed for high-speed data transmission over multi-mode fiber. It operates at an 850nm wavelength and supports distances up to 300 meters, making it ideal for short-range connections in data centers and enterprise networks.This module uses a duplex LC connector and requires two fiber strands for transmitting and receiving data. It delivers 10Gb Ethernet connectivity and is commonly used for inter-rack and intra-rack networking.The transceiver is hot-swappable, allowing installation without shutting down devices. It also supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), enabling real-time monitoring of parameters like temperature, voltage, and optical power.
