Returns & Exchanges

At RAM N SSD, LLC., our return and exchange process is designed to be efficient and transparent, ensuring you have the right hardware to keep your infrastructure running without delay. If you need to return or exchange a product, please review our policies below to ensure a smooth process:

General Return Policy

  • 15-Day Window: Products may be returned for a replacement or refund within 15 days of the purchase date.
  • Manufacturer Warranty: After 15 days, items fall under the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable. Please note that warranty terms vary by product category.
  • Non-Returnable Items: For quality and security reasons, sealed retail boxed items and all software are non-returnable once opened. Digital goods, licenses, and service contracts are also non-returnable.

Shipping & Damaged Merchandise

  • Transit Damage: If a package shows obvious signs of damage upon delivery, please refuse the shipment. If damage is discovered after opening, contact the carrier immediately for inspection and notify us within 2 business days. Failure to report damage within this window may void claim eligibility.
  • Replacement Shipping: Standard replacements are shipped via ground service. Customers may opt for expedited shipping at their own expense. Please note that premium shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Physical Damage: Products that have been physically damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.

RMA Process & Security

  • Authorization Required: Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our department. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be processed.
  • Timeframe: We must receive the returned merchandise within 10 days of issuing the RMA, or the authorization will be voided.
  • Verification: To ensure transparency, all serial numbers are scanned and recorded prior to shipment. We ask that customers only return the specific units originally provided.

Restocking Fees & Refunds

Refunds are processed based on the condition of the returned hardware. Shipping costs are non-refundable, though applicable taxes will be credited.

  • New & Unopened: 20% restocking fee.
  • Opened (Complete with all accessories): 30% restocking fee.
  • Incomplete Returns (Missing box, cables, or brackets): 50% restocking fee.
  • Order Cancellation (Once processing has begun): 30% fee based on the total order amount.
  • Used Condition/No Longer Needed: Up to an 80% restocking fee depending on the item’s condition.

Defective & DOA Items

If you receive a defective or “Dead on Arrival” (DOA) item, a replacement will be prioritized. Please note that if a returned DOA product is tested and found to be in full working order, a 50% RMA fee will be issued.
