SFP1000SXST Overview

The StarTech SFP1000SXST is a 1000Base-SX SFP transceiver module designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multi-mode fiber. Operating at an 850nm wavelength, it supports short-range communication with a maximum distance of up to 550 meters, making it ideal for LAN environments, data centers, and intra-building connections. Equipped with a duplex LC connector, it ensures stable and efficient optical performance. This module is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3z standards and follows the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), allowing broad compatibility across various networking equipment vendors. It also supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), enabling real-time monitoring of parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power levels.
