The Dell is a 10GBASE-SR SFP+ fiber transceiver designed for short-range 10Gbps data transmission over multi-mode fiber. It operates at an 850nm wavelength and supports distances of up to 300 meters, making it ideal for data centers, server rooms, and intra-rack or inter-rack connections.This module uses a duplex LC connector and is optimized for high-speed, low-latency communication in enterprise environments. Like other Dell SFP+ modules, it is hot-pluggable, allowing installation without network downtime, and includes Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time performance tracking such as temperature and optical power.
