The HP ProCurve J9080-61001 (1700-24) is an entry-level unmanaged Ethernet switch designed for small to medium-sized businesses that require reliable network connectivity with simple setup and no complex configuration. It provides a total of 24 ports, consisting of 22 Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX LAN ports for everyday desktop and device connections, plus 2 dual-personality ports that can operate either as 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet copper ports or as SFP slots for fiber uplinks.This combination offers flexibility for connecting workstations, printers, and IP devices over standard Fast Ethernet, while still providing Gigabit uplink capacity to servers or core switches.
