The HP ProCurve J9138A (E2520-24-PoE) is a 24-port managed Fast Ethernet switch with PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability, designed for enterprise access-layer deployments where connectivity and power delivery to devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras are required. It provides 24 x 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 ports for standard Fast Ethernet connections, along with 2 dual-purpose Gigabit ports that can operate either as 10/100/1000Base-T copper ports or as SFP fiber ports, enabling flexible uplinks to distribution or core networks.As a Layer 2 managed switch, the E2520-24-PoE supports VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), link aggregation (LACP), Quality of Service (QoS), and advanced security features such as 802.1X authentication, ACLs, and port security.
