The HP ProCurve J9310A is a 24-port Layer 3 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch engineered for enterprise-grade scalability, routing, and secure switching. It offers 24 RJ-45 Gigabit ports for end-device connectivity along with 4 dual-personality uplinks that can function as either copper or fiber (SFP), giving network administrators deployment flexibility across diverse infrastructures.Unlike Layer 2-only models, the J9310A integrates advanced Layer 3 capabilities such as static routing, RIP, OSPF, and inter-VLAN routing, enabling it to perform both switching and routing roles within a single device.
