JE009-61101 Overview
“Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a feature of the HP 1910-48G Switch that allows the switch to provide power to connected devices over the Ethernet cable. This eliminates the need for separate power cables and outlets for each device, making it more convenient and cost-effective to install and maintain.
The switch supports both PoE and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af) which provides a maximum power budget of 370W, allowing more flexibility on the type of devices that can be powered. This can include devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, security cameras and other devices that require a small amount of power to function.
