NM-16ESW-PWR-1GIG Overview
The Cisco NM-16ESW-PWR-1GIG is a network module designed for integration into compatible Cisco ISR (Integrated Services Routers). It provides 16 autosensing 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports using RJ-45 interfaces, enabling flexible LAN expansion inside the router chassis.This switch module supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing it to supply power to connected devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and cameras, without requiring external power injectors.In addition to the 16 Fast Ethernet ports, it includes one Gigabit Ethernet uplink port, enabling high-speed connectivity to the router’s backplane or external switches.
