The HPE Virtual Connect SE P08477-B21 is a 16Gb Fibre Channel interconnect module designed to simplify and optimize server-to-SAN connectivity within HPE BladeSystem c-Class environments. It provides 16 internal 16Gb FC connections to server blades and 8 external 16Gb FC uplinks to the storage network, enabling seamless integration between blade servers and SAN infrastructures. Supporting auto-negotiation across 2/4/8/16Gb speeds, it ensures backward compatibility while delivering high-performance throughput for modern workloads. Leveraging HPE’s Virtual Connect architecture, the module abstracts server connections from physical SAN infrastructure, reducing complexity by eliminating the need for multiple dedicated adapters and switches.
