WS-X5203 Overview

The Cisco WS-X5203 is a Fast Ethernet switching module for the Catalyst 5000 Series, offering 12 ports of 100Base-TX copper connectivity with support for Fast EtherChannel technology. Each port provides 100 Mbps throughput over standard twisted-pair cabling, making the module suitable for connecting servers, high-performance workstations, or uplinks within enterprise networks. With built-in Fast EtherChannel support, multiple ports can be grouped together to form a single logical high-bandwidth connection, significantly increasing throughput and providing redundancy for critical links.
