Q2P63A Overview
The HPE Q2P63A is a high-performance SFP+ optical transceiver designed for 16 Gigabit Fibre Channel (16GFC) connectivity over multi-mode fiber (MMF). It utilizes the 16GBase-SW standard to deliver reliable, low-latency performance for storage area networks (SANs), data centers, and enterprise backbone networks.Equipped with an MPO optical connector, the module supports short-range links typical of intra-rack and inter-rack deployments, ensuring high-speed, low-loss optical transmission over multi-mode fiber. Fully compliant with SFF-8472 and SFP+ MSA standards, the guarantees interoperability with HPE B-Series switches, SAN infrastructure, and other compatible networking devices.
