The HP FTLF8536P4BCL-HP is a high-performance optical transceiver module designed for 25.78Gbps Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications. Operating over multi-mode fiber (MMF), it supports short-reach links up to 100 meters on OM4 and 70 meters on OM3 fiber. The module uses an 850nm VCSEL laser for efficient shortwave transmission and integrates a duplex LC optical connector for secure, low-loss connections.It is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3by 25GBase-SR and SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards, ensuring interoperability across compatible HP networking switches, storage systems, and interconnect devices. This transceiver is hot-swappable, allowing quick replacements or upgrades without disrupting network operations.
