The Juniper Networks 740-056707 QSFP+ Transceiver is a 40Gbps long-reach optical module designed to deliver high-speed, reliable connectivity for data centers, enterprise networks, and service provider infrastructures. Supporting the 40GBase-LR standard, it enables long-distance transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF), making it suitable for inter-building and metro-scale networking.This module operates on a 1310nm wavelength and supports a reach of up to 10 kilometers over SMF. It is equipped with a duplex LC optical connector, ensuring secure, low-loss fiber connections and easy integration into existing optical infrastructures.The transceiver is compliant with the QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3ba 40G Ethernet standards, ensuring full interoperability with Juniper’s networking platforms, as well as other compatible vendor equipment.
