AJ822B Overview
The HP B-Series 8/24c SAN Switch with Power Pack (AJ822B) is a high-performance Fibre Channel switch designed specifically for HP BladeSystem c-Class environments. Featuring 24 SFP+ ports running at 8Gb/s, this switch provides resilient and scalable storage area network connectivity, while maintaining full compatibility with older 4Gb/s and 2Gb/s devices. The included Power Pack software bundle delivers advanced SAN capabilities such as Extended Fabric, ISL Trunking, Fabric Watch, and Performance Monitoring enabling administrators to maximize throughput, enhance reliability, and proactively monitor SAN health.
