407-BBWL Overview
The Dell is a copper SFP+ transceiver designed for 10GBase-T Ethernet over standard RJ-45 cabling. It supports both 1Gbps and 10Gbps speeds and can operate over Cat6a/Cat7 cables up to 30 meters, making it ideal for short-range copper connections in data centers and enterprise networks.This module uses a standard RJ-45 connector, allowing easy integration with existing copper Ethernet infrastructure without requiring fiber cabling. It provides a flexible solution for high-speed connectivity where fiber is not necessary.The transceiver is hot-swappable, enabling installation or replacement without downtime. It also supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM), allowing monitoring of operational parameters.
