The Cisco NMD-36-ESW-PWR-2G is a high-density EtherSwitch network module that enhances Cisco modular routers with integrated switching and PoE capabilities. It provides 36 autosensing 10/100 Ethernet ports along with 2 Gigabit uplink ports, making it ideal for connecting desktops, IP phones, and wireless access points in branch or remote offices. With built-in Power over Ethernet support, it simplifies deployments by powering devices directly through the switch ports, eliminating the need for separate power injectors. VLAN segmentation and Layer 2 switching features provide efficient traffic management, while Gigabit uplinks ensure high-speed connectivity to the core network.
