The Arista is a high-performance 10GbE data center switch from the 7100 series, designed for ultra-low latency environments such as financial trading, HPC, and virtualization workloads. It provides 24 SFP+ ports for high-speed fiber connectivity, delivering wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 performance. With extremely low latency (~500 nanoseconds) and high throughput, it ensures efficient east-west traffic handling in data center networks.
