XBR-000232 Overview
The Brocade 16Gbps QSFP+ shortwave Fibre Channel optical transceiver module designed for high-density Storage Area Network (SAN) environments. It operates at an 850nm wavelength over multi-mode fiber (MMF) and supports distances of up to 100 metres, making it suitable for short-range high-speed connectivity.This module provides 4 parallel 16Gbps channels (total 64Gbps bandwidth) and uses an MPO/MTP connector, enabling high-density connections and breakout capability to multiple SFP+ links. It is commonly used in Brocade Fibre Channel switches and directors for scalable SAN deployments.
