The Cisco Catalyst C9200CX-12T-2X2G-E is a compact Layer 3 enterprise switch designed to deliver secure, high-performance networking in space-constrained environments. Unlike its PoE-enabled counterpart, this “T” model provides 12 non-PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, making it suitable for deployments where power delivery to devices such as IP phones or access points is not required.For uplinks, it features 2 x 1G RJ-45 ports and 2 x 10G SFP+ uplinks, offering flexibility to connect into aggregation layers or core switches with both copper and fiber options. With an 80 Gbps switching capacity and nearly 60 Mpps forwarding rate, the switch is capable of supporting enterprise workloads, ensuring reliable traffic flow for branch offices or distributed edge environments.
