MN967 Overview

The Dell is a 10 Gigabit Ethernet X2 optical transceiver designed for short-range fiber communication over multi-mode fiber. It operates at an 850nm wavelength and supports distances up to 300 meters, making it suitable for data center and enterprise network environments.This module uses the older X2 form factor, which is larger than modern SFP+ modules and is typically found in legacy 10GbE switches and routers. It provides 10GBase-SR connectivity, commonly used for high-speed short-distance links within racks or between nearby network devices.
