WS-CBS3020-HPQ Overview

The Cisco Catalyst WS-CBS3020-HPQ is a Layer 2 managed blade switch built for seamless integration with the HP c-Class BladeSystem enclosure. Instead of a traditional rack-mount form, it is a blade module switch, sliding directly into the chassis to provide network connectivity to blade servers.It features 8 internal downlink Gigabit Ethernet ports that connect directly to the blade servers inside the enclosure, eliminating the need for external cabling to each blade. For uplinks, it offers 2 dual-purpose ports (RJ-45 or SFP), giving flexibility to connect to aggregation or core switches with either copper or fiber links
