SFP100BBXDST Overview

The StarTech is a 100Base-BX SFP transceiver module designed for bidirectional Fast Ethernet communication over a single strand of single-mode fiber. Utilizing BiDi (bidirectional) technology, it transmits data at 1550nm and receives at 1310nm, allowing both transmission and reception over one fiber cable instead of two. This design helps reduce cabling requirements and overall infrastructure costs.
