The StarTech SFP100BFXST is a 100Base-FX SFP transceiver module designed for Fast Ethernet connectivity over multi-mode fiber. Operating at a wavelength of 1310nm, it supports transmission distances of up to 2 kilometers, making it suitable for medium-range network connections within campuses, industrial environments, and enterprise infrastructures. Equipped with a duplex LC connector, it provides stable and efficient optical communication. This module complies with IEEE 802.3u standards and adheres to the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment from different vendors. It also features Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), allowing real-time monitoring of critical parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical signal levels.
