SFP100BLHST Overview

The StarTech SFP100BLHST is a 100Base-LH SFP transceiver module designed for long-haul Fast Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber. Operating at a wavelength of 1550nm, it supports extended transmission distances of up to 80 kilometers, making it ideal for telecom networks, metropolitan area networks (MANs), and long-distance enterprise connectivity. Equipped with a duplex LC connector, it ensures stable and efficient optical signal transmission across extended fiber links. This module complies with IEEE 802.3ah standards and adheres to the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of networking devices from different vendors. It also supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), providing real-time visibility into critical parameters such as temperature, voltage, and optical power levels.
