The 2TB X5 Portable SSD from Samsung is built with a 2TB NVMe SSD and a Thunderbolt 3 interface. In addition to fast speeds, SSDs are built without any moving parts, making them more durable than their hard drive counterparts. For additional protection, it’s built with magnesium alloy to survive drops from up to 6′ high, as well as Dynamic Thermal Guard technology and a heatsink to keep things cool and prevent throttling.
