The Dell Qle2660 is a single-port Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) designed for enterprise-level storage area networks (SANs). It is equipped with a standard bracket, which makes it easy to install in standard PCIe slots. The adapter provides a high-speed connection between a server and a SAN, enabling the server to access storage resources on the SAN.
The Dell Qle2660 supports a maximum throughput of 16 gigabits per second (Gbps), which is a significant improvement over the previous generation of Fibre Channel HBAs. The adapter is backward compatible with 8Gbps and 4Gbps Fibre Channel devices, ensuring compatibility with existing SAN infrastructure.
