The Avaya J139 IP Phone provides a modern, connected, personalized experience for customers and addresses the need for secure, reliable voice communications for users within large enterprises and small and medium-sized companies. It is well suited for users that need only the most commonly used voice features. It provides a new level of simplicity in using features such as Hold, Transfer, Conference, Forward, and Call Park / UnPark.
The Avaya J139 IP Device is a cost-effective, entry-level IP device that addresses the need for secure, basic voice communications for users within large enterprises and small and medium-sized companies. This multiple line phone comes with four red/green line/feature indicators around the display for notifications. It features a 2.8-inch diagonal color display to view the caller id and other functions. The J139 provides a Gigabit Ethernet interface for connectivity. Features like wideband audio for handset and wired headset, full duplex speakerphone, four softkeys and a dual-position desk stand add to its utility.

Applications can be written for Avaya Vantage™ using Android development tools and the Avaya Breeze® Client Software Development Kit’s Desk Phone Services Package. This package provides API interfaces which use the special features of the Avaya Vantage device such as the switch hook, optional corded and cordless headsets, hardware based echo cancellation, message waiting indicator, and other features not normally available on mobiles, laptops, and tablets.
