The Samsung MZWLL12THMLA is a solid-state drive (SSD) with a storage capacity of 12.8 terabytes (TB). It utilizes the Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) protocol, which is a host controller interface and storage protocol optimized for use with non-volatile memory (such as NAND flash) that provides faster data transfer speeds and low latencies compared to the older AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) protocol commonly used in SATA-based SSDs.
The drive is designed to connect to the host computer through a PCI Express (PCIe) interface, which supports faster data transfer speeds than SATA. It uses a 32 Gbps connection interface providing even faster data transfer rates than others NVMe drives.
