KCD8DRUG15T3 Overview
The KIOXIA KCD8DRUG15T3 CD8‑R Series 15.36 TB NVMe SSD is a high‑capacity enterprise‑class internal solid‑state drive designed for read‑intensive data‑center and server workloads. It uses a PCIe 4.0 ×4 NVMe 1.4 interface in a U.2 2.5‑inch, 15 mm form factor, providing a balance of high throughput, low latency, and large storage density suitable for demanding applications such as virtualization, big data analytics, online transaction processing, and cloud storage infrastructure. Built with 112‑layer BiCS FLASH™ 3D TLC NAND, this drive delivers sustained performance with up to ~6,600 MB/s sequential reads and ~6,000 MB/s sequential writes, along with ≈1,050,000 IOPS random reads and ≈195,000 IOPS random writes.
