The Axiom AA579533-AX is an enterprise-class, ultra-high-density 64GB DDR4 memory module specifically engineered to serve as a 100% compatible equivalent for Dell PowerEdge servers and Precision workstations. Operating at 2933MHz (PC4-23460), it provides a massive, high-bandwidth data foundation for memory-intensive cloud deployments, virtualization, high-performance computing (HPC), and large-scale enterprise databases.
A defining characteristic of this module is its Load-Reduced ECC (LRDIMM) architecture. While standard Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) only buffer command and address lines, an LRDIMM utilizes a specialized memory buffer chip to buffer both control lines and data lines. This drastically minimizes the electrical load presented to the server’s memory controller.
