KCD8XPUG15T3 Overview

The KIOXIA CD8P‑R 15.36TB NVMe SSD is a 15.36 TB enterprise‑class NVMe PCIe 5.0 solid‑state drive from KIOXIA’s CD8P‑R Series, designed for read‑intensive, data‑center and server storage workloads. It uses the PCIe 5.0 ×4 NVMe 2.0 interface, delivering very high throughput and low latency compared with earlier PCIe generations — with sustained sequential read speeds up to around 12,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to about 5,500 MB/s thanks to the 32 GT/s PCIe 5.0 link. The drive is built with BiCS FLASH generation 5 TLC NAND to balance performance, endurance, and efficiency for enterprise use. Random performance can reach around 2,000,000 IOPS for reads and 200,000 IOPS for writes.
