KCD8XPUG7T68 Overview

The KIOXIA CD8P‑R 7.68TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD is a high‑performance, enterprise‑class NVMe solid‑state drive from KIOXIA’s CD8P‑R Series designed for read‑intensive data‑center workloads. It uses the PCI Express 5.0 ×4 NVMe 2.0 interface, which provides significantly greater bandwidth and lower latency than previous PCIe generations, helping accelerate tasks such as large‑scale virtualization, cloud services, online transaction processing, big data analytics, and content delivery. The drive is built with KIOXIA BiCS FLASH™ TLC NAND memory and delivers very high sequential read throughput (up to ~12,000 MB/s) along with strong sequential write and random I/O performance — with random reads up to about 2,000,000 IOPS and random writes around ~200,000 IOPS, enabling responsive access to large datasets under heavy loads.
