P98F6 Overview
The Dell P98F6 2TB internal solid state drive (SSD) uses the NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) interface, which provides high-speed data transfer and improved performance compared to traditional SATA-based SSDs. NVMe is a host controller interface specification that takes advantage of the faster speeds of NVMe-based flash storage to deliver improved performance and lower latency.
The NVMe interface of the Dell 2TB SSD provides increased bandwidth and low latency, allowing it to deliver faster read and write speeds compared to SATA-based SSDs. This makes the drive well-suited for demanding applications, such as high-performance computing, database systems, and other enterprise workloads.
