The HP Aruba 5412R zl2 (J9851A) is a high-performance modular switch chassis designed for enterprise core and aggregation networks requiring flexibility, scalability, and advanced features. This chassis provides 12 modular slots, allowing administrators to populate it with a combination of line cards to meet varying network requirements, including high-density Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE support, and fiber connectivity.Built on the ArubaOS-Switch (formerly ProCurve) architecture, the 5412R zl2 supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality, including advanced routing protocols, VLANs, link aggregation, Quality of Service (QoS), multicast routing, and ACLs, making it suitable for converged voice, video, and data networks.
