The Cisco WS-CBS3130X-S-F is a Catalyst 3130X Blade Switch engineered for deployment within HP c-Class BladeSystem enclosures, providing high-speed, reliable networking for blade servers. It delivers internal connectivity for server blades via multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports external uplinks through high-speed X2 or similar ports, enabling seamless integration with the broader enterprise network.This switch offers Layer 2 and basic Layer 3 functionality, including VLAN support, inter-VLAN routing, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), static routing, and Access Control Lists (ACLs), ensuring effective traffic management and network segmentation inside the blade chassis. It runs Cisco IOS software, allowing full configuration, monitoring, and security management within the HP blade system.
