ADPT-O-Q-100G Overview
The Arista Networks is a passive OSFP to QSFP28 adapter designed to provide flexibility in modern data center environments.This adapter allows QSFP/QSFP28 transceivers (40G/100G) to be inserted into OSFP ports, enabling backward compatibility with existing optical modules.Unlike standard transceivers, this device does not perform optical or electrical conversion. Instead, it acts as a mechanical and electrical interface adapter, allowing the host system to communicate directly with the inserted QSFP module.
