The HPE Aruba CX is a cost-effective and reliable managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise edge and branch networking. It features 24 RJ-45 Gigabit ports for device connectivity and 4 high-speed SFP+ uplink slots providing 10GbE fiber links for aggregation and core integration. While focused on Layer 2 switching, it also includes basic Layer 3 static routing for enhanced traffic segmentation. This switch does not support PoE, making it suitable for data-only environments such as desktops, printers, and non-powered devices.
