The OWCTB3IVKIT000 (ThunderBay 4) from Other World Computing (OWC) is a high-performance, 4-bay desktop storage enclosure engineered for professional video editors, content creators, and heavy data workflows. It features dual Thunderbolt 3 ports delivering up to 40Gb/s of bandwidth, supporting the daisy-chaining of up to six additional devices or a 5K display. The diskless, hot-swappable chassis accommodates up to four 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA HDDs or SSDs and includes OWC’s SoftRAID software to easily configure advanced RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, and 10 arrays. Housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure with a quiet 92mm cooling fan, it prevents thermal throttling to ensure sustained speed and data redundancy during intensive 4K rendering and large-scale backups.
