QSFP-100G-LRL4 Overview

The QSFP-100G-LRL4 is a 100Gbps QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for short to medium-distance communication over single-mode fiber, supporting distances up to 2 kilometers. It is based on the LR4 Lite architecture, which uses four separate optical lanes combined through wavelength division multiplexing to deliver high-speed data transmission while maintaining lower cost and power consumption compared to full LR4 modules.This transceiver is commonly used in data centers, enterprise networks, and campus environments, where long-range 10 km optics are not required.
