The Dell 400‑BPHD XG8 Series 4 TB NVMe SSD is a high‑capacity internal solid‑state drive designed for modern desktops, workstations, and performance systems with support for PCIe 4.0 ×4 NVMe storage in the M.2 2280 form factor. It delivers very fast data access speeds compared with SATA and older NVMe drives thanks to the NVMe 1.4 protocol over PCIe Gen4, providing a significant boost for tasks such as large file transfers, system boot‑ups, application loading, and heavy multitasking.
Built with 112‑layer TLC NAND flash as part of the XG8 Series, this SSD typically offers sequential read speeds up to ~7,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to ~5,800 MB/s, along with strong random I/O performance.
