The Samsung 990 EVO Plus Series 1 TB (model MZ‑V9S1T0BW) is a high‑performance internal NVMe solid‑state drive designed for desktops, laptops, and workstations that support PCIe 4.0 ×4 NVMe storage. Built with Samsung TLC 3D NAND flash and a tuned controller, it delivers very fast sequential and random read/write performance compared with SATA‑based drives, helping improve system boot times, application loading, large file transfers, and responsiveness in demanding workloads. With 1 TB of usable capacity, the drive offers plenty of space for operating systems, applications, games, media libraries, and project files. Its NVMe PCIe 4.0 interface enables significantly greater bandwidth and lower latency than older interfaces.
