Q6Q62C Overview

The Q6Q62C (HPE StoreEver MSL3040) is an enterprise-class, 3U rackmount scalable tape library base module designed for high-density long-term archiving, disaster recovery, and air-gapped ransomware protection. Out of the box, the base enclosure features 40 LTO tape slots and supports up to three half-height LTO-7, LTO-8, or LTO-9 SAS/Fibre Channel tape drives. To accommodate massive data growth, the system can expand vertically by stacking up to six expansion modules, scaling into a single cohesive unit with 280 slots and 21 drives capable of storing up to 12.6PB of compressed LTO-9 data. It ensures maximum uptime with dual hot-swappable redundant power supplies and features HPE Command View for Tape Libraries (CVTL) for centralized, web-based remote monitoring and diagnostics.
