WD10SPZX Overview
The 1TB WD Blue SATA 6Gb/s 2.5″ 7mm Internal Hard Drive delivers superior performance with lower power requirements than other, slower, notebook drives. This lower power consumption yields increased reliability. WD’s exclusive WhisperDrive technology make the Blue quiet, despite its high spin speed. This drive also features ShockGuard technology, protecting the drive mechanics and platter surfaces from shocks, and DuraStep Ramp, which locks the heads in a secure position away from the disk to provide another layer of protection when the drive is not in use. Utilizing the most technologically advanced material available, the WD Blue can perform a minimum of 600,000 load/unload cycles without contamination – up to twice the performance of its competitors.
