The Seagate Nytro 5050 15.36TB NVMe SSD is a 15.36 TB enterprise‑class internal solid‑state drive from Seagate’s Nytro 5050 series engineered for high‑density, read‑intensive storage in servers and data‑center environments. It uses a PCIe 4.0 ×4 NVMe interface and a 2.5‑inch, 15 mm form factor, providing very high throughput and low latency compared with legacy storage interfaces, which helps accelerate demanding workloads such as virtualization, large‑scale data analytics, and content delivery. The drive delivers strong performance with sustained sequential read speeds up to about 7400 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to about 7200 MB/s, along with very high random I/O performance that supports responsive access to large datasets.
